How Difficult Is To Find A House For Rent In Bangalore ?
Due to lack of employment in India, people across different states and cities are shifting their base. Students in engineering colleges who want to pursue their career in Information Technology or IT are migrating from their hometown to cities such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, and Chennai where many IT companies are situated. Even families who are looking out for jobs in software sector are moving to Bangalore. But finding a good house for rent in Bangalore is becoming difficult these days just because the real estate industry is booming and rents are touching sky in southern part of India.
An average individual house which consists of 1 bed room, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen and 1 hall in places such as Whitefield, Marathalli, BTM layout, Bellandur costs about 10,000 INR to 15,000 INR for family and about 7,500 to 15,000 INR for bachelors. The same 1BHK apartment or flat is even more costly as it includes the maintenance cost. Affording such houses has become a mighty task for Bangloreans. Forget about buying a house but getting it on rent has also become costly for a common man.
In Marathalli on today’s date a 1bhk apartment costs 16,000 INR which is not even furnished. So a family which opts for such apartment not only has to shell out 16 thousand rupees but also spend money on buying bed, kitchen appliances and other basic housing amenities. In Indiranagar and Koramangala the cost of renting out an independent house costs almost the same.
In areas such as Saraswathipuram, Mahalakshmi layout, Laggere the rent is much cheaper. For example a 3bhk house or apartment will cost you around 14,000 INR. But since these areas are far from the location where the IT companies are situated, it takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to commute daily for the people to reach to their office. Traffic congestion is too much in Bangalore. People get tired daily commuting for 3 hours to and fro from the office to their home. This is the sole reason why people who are working in IT companies are ready to pay such high amount of rent to get house for rent in Bangalore at areas such as Marathalli, Bellandur and Whitefield.
In Yeshwantpur & Hebbal area there are many government offices and institutes such as CPRI – Central Power and research institute, DRDO – Defense research & development organization, BEL – Bharat electronics limited and many more. House rent in these places is little above average but not as much as compared to the rents at IT office situated areas.
There are certain places such as M.G road, Brigade road, Cunningham road where there are many malls, hotels, shopping spots, pubs, discos where people come to have fun and enjoy. This is called as the entertainment spot of Bangalore. But to get a place to stay here is not cheap. In fact to find house for rent in Bangalore at such places is better to be avoided. If you need lavish lifestyle then perhaps you can think of renting out at such places if you can afford.
It is easy to find affordable houses for rent at residential places such as Rajajinagar, Vijayanagar & Basveshwarnagar. They are considered to be far from the main central part of Bangalore. But people who want a peaceful living choose to rent houses or buy houses or apartments in these areas. Overall, life at Bangalore is fast moving and hence these days it has become difficult to find house for rent here.
